CyberSecurity Malaysia Signs MoU with Flexxon and AI MSP to Fortify National Cybersecurity with AI-Powered Hardware Solutions
Kuala Lumpur, 7 August 2024 – In a historic move to improve Malaysia’s cybersecurity framework, CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM), the national cybersecurity specialist agency under the Ministry of Digital, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global AI-powered hardware security leader Flexxon and IT cybersecurity company AI MSP. The strategic partnership aims to introduce advanced, pre-emptive hardware-based AI cybersecurity solutions across the country.
The MoU, signed at Cyber DSA 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, was attended by key figures including Ybhg. Tuan Fabian Bigar, Secretary General of the Ministry of Digital Malaysia; En Roshdi Ahmad, COO of CyberSecurity Malaysia; Ms Camellia Chan, Co-Founder and CEO of Flexxon; and Mr. Kevin Lim, Technical Director of AI MSP, along with Ms May Chng, Co-Founder and COO of Flexxon, who served as a witness.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM), Flexxon, and AI MSP represents a significant initiative to strengthen Malaysia’s cybersecurity framework. This strategic partnership aims to enhance national resilience against cyber threats by integrating advanced, AI-powered hardware solutions provided by Flexxon. These solutions will play a crucial role in safeguarding critical infrastructure and promoting a secure digital environment. By leveraging cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, the collaboration seeks to elevate Malaysia’s defensive capabilities and establish new standards in cybersecurity across government and private sectors.
